Elite Rescue Academy’s 40hr Trench rescue course is a combination of the 24hrs operations level and 16hr technician level courses. Students will become familiar with specialized rescue equipment and learn basic to advanced trench rescue techniques. Realistic simulations and hands-on training develop the skills needed to lead confined space rescue teams. This course exceeds the training and professional qualification requirements of NFPA standard 1006 for Trench Rescue Technician Level, as well as the requirements listed in F.A.C. 69A-37.065 Florida Urban Search and Rescue Program.
