1. Eligibility

This contest is open only to individuals who are currently serving as firefighters in the state of Florida (“Contestants”). Employees of Elite Rescue Academy, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the contest. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

2. Agreement to Rules

By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Elite Rescue Academy as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Contest.

3. Contest Period

Entries will be accepted online starting on April 3, 2024, and ending May 2, 2024. All online entries must be received by May 2, 2024, at 11:59 PM EST.

4. How to Enter

The contest must be entered by:

• Liking and following Elite Rescue Academy on Facebook.

• Liking the giveaway video post or reel on Elite Rescue Academy’s Facebook page.

• Contestants will receive one (1) extra entry if they share the giveaway post on their Facebook page.

The entry must fulfill all contest requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Elite Rescue Academy. You must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules.

5. Prizes

The Winner(s) of the Contest (the “Winner”) will receive one (1) Fire Maul and one (1) free online class limited to fire officer 1 & 2 classes, instructor, or inspector classes. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Elite Rescue Academy’s discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Elite Rescue Academy to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

6. Odds

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

Winner will be selected by a random drawing under the supervision of Elite Rescue Academy on May 3, 2024. Winner will be notified via Facebook within five (5) days following selection of Winner. Elite Rescue Academy shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 15 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected.

8. Rights Reserved by Elite Rescue Academy

Elite Rescue Academy reserves the right to deny entry for contestants that:

• (a) Are not Florida firefighters

• (b) Do not have credentials proving they are Florida firefighters

• (c) Cannot be identified by Elite Rescue Academy as firefighters

Elite Rescue Academy also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Elite Rescue Academy’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest.

Information submitted with an entry is subject to Facebook’s Privacy Policy.
