ATPC 703 Aerial Operations Class is a Hybrid Online/In-Person Course. Students enrolled in the course will be required to complete an online portion and a 16hr In-Person Portion. This course provides firefighters with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely and effectively operate aerial fire apparatus. This course covers the principles of aerial apparatus design, setup, stabilization, positioning, and operation during fireground and rescue incidents. Students will learn tactical considerations for aerial use, water supply operations, apparatus maintenance, and safety practices.
Upon successful completion, students will demonstrate competency in aerial apparatus operations through classroom instruction and hands-on application, preparing them for advanced fire-ground responsibilities and promotional opportunities within the fire service.
