This course provides emergency responders with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to safely operate at hazardous materials incidents at the Operations level. Students will cover hazard recognition and identification, PPE, detection and monitoring, defensive control techniques, decontamination, and incident response procedures in accordance with applicable NFPA 470 Operations-level competencies.
