The Vehicle and Machinery Rescue Technician Level course builds upon the foundational skills learned in the Vehicle and Machinery Rescue Operations Level course. Participants receive advanced training in complex extrication scenarios, heavy machinery accidents, and hazardous materials incidents involving vehicles. Leadership, incident management, and decision-making during intricate rescue operations are emphasized. Realistic simulations and hands-on training develop the expertise needed to lead vehicle and machinery rescue teams. This course exceeds the training and professional qualification requirements of NFPA standard 1670 and 1006 for Vehicle and Machinery Rescue Technician Level, as well as the requirements listed in F.A.C. 69A-37.065 Florida Urban Search and Rescue Program.
